Bob and I met as students  while attending at Penn State.  We have two children, Kerry & Kristen, and four grandchildren.  Bob worked in the financial world, and is now retired from Merrill Lynch.   I worked for a time at Liverpool Public Library near Syracuse - we are now devoted full time to our Shelties!

Bob, the Shelties, and I spent over 20 years in the Syracuse, New York area, and in 2001, with Bob's retirement, we moved to Leesburg, VA (see map here).  Our large ranch house is on 11 acres, with a small  barn that we converted into a kennel building, a pool and lots of room to entertain guests, - dogs and/or people!  Bob enjoys golf, working on home projects and sports.  I  love reading, gardening - and of course the Shelties!

The lower level of our barn serves as our kennel, with separate rooms for dog crates, grooming room, and indoor runs. From the outside, you can see some of the covered runs and the fenced exercise paddocks.
